A Bradford man was charged after allegedly threatening to kill a woman when he called her place of work.
City of Bradford Police charged 32-year-old Craig R. Whitmer with indirect criminal contempt for violation of an order of prtection.
The charges stem from Whitmer allegedly using a woman to call the victim’s job asking to speak with her, and when she answered, Whitmer was on the line.
He allegedly yelled at her about her living arrangements and threatened to kill her before hanging up.
Whitmer was served a Temporary Order and Hearing date on July 27 that he failed to appear at, resulting in a Final Order being issued on July 31.
Multiple attempts to serve Whitmer since the Final Order have been unsuccessful.
Whitmer was remanded to the McKean County Jail.
