An Allegany woman and an Olean man were arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on Main St in Olean Thursday night.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 35-year-old Kimberly A. Baxter and 25-year-old Jae’Andra R. Garcia with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Baxter, the driver, was additionally issued traffic tickets while Garcia was given an additional misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance.
During the traffic stop, Deputies allegedly discovered Baxter was operating a vehicle that appeared to have no insurance and was in possession of fentanyl.
Garcia was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, crack-cocaine and fentanyl.
Baxter and Garcia were released with appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Olean City Court at a later date.
A third passenger was issued a ticket for seatbelt violation.
