A Kennedy man was arrested on a warrant after a traffic stop on I-86 in Allegany late Thursday night.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Christopher S. Roper, the passenger of the vehicle, on an active felony arrest warrant out of the Town of Ellicottville Police Department.
Roper was also allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and deputies found methamphetamine and crack cocaine in the vehicle.
He was charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Roper was then turned over to the Town of Ellicottville Police Department on his warrant.
