The Bradford Owls saw a promising start slip away Friday night, falling 42-to-20 to Kane. Bradford actually grabbed a 14-to-12 lead in the game before the Wolves took control and pulled away for good. Braylon Austin got the Owls on the board first, hauling in a big catch on Bradford’s opening touchdown drive despite tight coverage from Kane defender Ben McCormack.
It’s Bradford’s second loss of the young season, dropping them to 0-and-2 under new head coach Troy Cook, as the program continues building its identity with a roster of 13 returning letterwinners.
The Owls return home to host Smethport this Friday, September 11th, looking to find their first win of the season in front of the home crowd. Kickoff is at 7:00pm, with our pregame coverage starting at 6:45pm Eastern, on WESB Sports and B-107-point-5 FM.
