Josh Allen delivered a vintage performance to open the season, and the Bills needed every bit of it in a wild 36-to-31 win over the Texans Sunday. Allen threw the game-winning touchdown to Joshua Palmer with just 1:36 left, capping a 96-yard drive, and finished with 334 yards passing, two touchdown throws, and two more scores on the ground — four total touchdowns in all.
It’s Buffalo’s first win in Houston in 20 years. D-J Moore made an instant impact in his Bills debut, hauling in five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, and Dalton Kincaid added five catches for 130 yards. Greg Rousseau sealed it with a strip-sack of C-J Stroud on the final defensive snap.
The Bills host Detroit Thursday night in the first regular-season game at their new stadium.
