An Olean man was charged Sunday evening with possession of multiple assault weapons after an unrelated incident on Sept. 14 in the City of Olean.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 44-year-old Alan K. Haight Jr. with three felony counts of Possession of an assault Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Firearm.
Haight Jr. was allegedly in possession of multiple firearms that are classified in New York State as an Assault Weapon.
Haight was released with an appearance ticket and is due at Olean City Court at a later date.
