The Bradford Owls ran into a buzz saw Friday night. Brockway beat Bradford, 72-16, on Senior Night in Bradford.
Seventy-two is the Rovers’ highest score of the season. Quarterback Aiden Patton threw two first-quarter touchdown passes to Caleb Daugherty, and Daugherty added a rushing touchdown of his own. Ben Bash, Kolton Kahle, Collin Weir and Brock Yale also found the end zone. Brockway improves to seven-and-two and has won seven games in a row.
For Bradford, it’s another hard night in a hard season. The Owls fall to one-and-eight overall and zero-and-four in league play, with five straight losses. Their only win came September eighteenth, twenty-four to twenty at Coudersport. Bradford has now lost sixteen of its last seventeen games, going back to last season.
The Owls look to bounce back next Friday at Warren, seven o’clock. Brockway hosts Maplewood.
