A Salamanca woman was charged after an incident reported in New Albion Monday evening.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 31-year-old Serena M. Schey with criminal contempt.
The charges stem from Schey allegedly violating an active Stay Away Order of Protection.
She was released with an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of New Albion Court at a later date.
