A group of restaurants in Warren and Erie County will be forced to stop using the Perkins name after a court ruling Tuesday.
A Federal judge granted a temporary restraining order against the franchisee of Perkins restaurants in Warren, Corry, Erie, Titusville, and Meadville.
The parent company for Perkins said that the franchisee, Campbell’s Land Company, Inc., owes more than $2 million in fees and did not uphold company standards.
The Perkins restaurants in McKean and Cattaraugus Counties are not affected by the decision.
A hearing will be held Monday on whether to make the order permanent.
