A man found with heroin in the Save A Lot parking lot in Salamanca back in May has been sentenced to five years in state prison.
25-year-old Jeremy Foster was a passenger in a car searched by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task. That’s when they found the heroin prosecutors say he was planning to sell.
At the time, Foster was already wanted for selling drugs in Salamanca in December of 2014. He got two years for that crime, but the sentence will be served at the same time as the other.
Foster was also sentenced to a year in the Cattaraugus County Jail for violating probation.
