Charges against a Bradford man accused of stabbing and critically injuring a woman have been bound to McKean County Court.
Court papers say on July 25 30-year-old Christopher Link hit a woman in the head, face and body, injuring her eye socket, ear, jaw and rib cage. He also allegedly stabbed her wrist. She went to BRMC for treatment but didn’t report it to police.
Three days later, during a fight between Link and the woman she pulled out a pocket knife with a three-inch blade to protect herself. He grabbed the knife and stabbed her twice in the torso. She was flown to UPMC Hamot in critical condition.
He’s in McKean County Jail in lieu of $80,000 bail. A modification in his bail was denied during a separate hearing.
