Two men and a woman have pleaded guilty in connection to separate police chases.
25-year-old Michael Maddox of Bradford wouldn’t pull over when police tried to stop him in the early morning hours of November 28 on Commerce Drive. During the police chase he nearly hit a police vehicle. His vehicle eventually got stuck on a log and he tried to run away.
22-year-old Derik Nelson of Bradford didn’t stop when city police tried to stop him after he didn’t stop his motorcycle at a stop sign. He took police on a low speed chase over several city streets until an officer was able to push him just hard enough so he lost his balance and slowed down further. He then tried to run away, but didn’t get very far.
30-year-old Kacie Butler of Coudersport, who is currently at SCI-Muncy for several Potter County cases, was a passenger in a car that took police on a chase July 29, 2019. They were traveling at 110 mph at times in Eldred Township and, during the pursuit, she was throwing items out of the car. When the car stopped, she also tried to run away.
