The Jamestown man accused of setting a woman on fire was arraigned this morning and then sent to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of a million dollars bail. Cash.
37-year-old Luis Castro-Mojica pleaded not guilty. He also pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a domestic incident in September.
Police say on Tuesday he doused a 27-year-old woman with a flammable substance and then set her on fire. She is in critical condition at ECMC in Buffalo being treated for burns to her face, head and torso.
The investigation is continuing.
