Olean Man Jailed on Family Court Charges

An Olean man was arrested Tuesday for violating a protection order from Cattaraugus County Family Court.  Deputies say that 43 year-old Ronnie Turek was taken into custody, charged and sentenced immediately to three months in the Cattaraugus County Jail.

Fire Damages Chautauqua County Home

A fire on Park Street in Sinclairville Tuesday night damaged a house.  The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says multiple crews were called to the blaze at an occupied home.  No injuries have been reported.  The Red Cross has been called to assist with the residents of the house.
