A Salamanca woman is facing DWI and drug charges after a traffic stop.
Troopers stopped 42 year old Tonya Shongo for a suspended registration, and while interviewing her detected an odor of alcoholic beverages and saw two open containers in her center console. Shongo failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for DWI.
While searching the vehicle, Troopers located drug paraphernalia and a plastic baggie containing cocaine.
Shongo refused to provide a blood sample to determine blood alcohol content and was arraigned in Great Valley Town Court before being released on her own recognizance.
