Jimmy Walker captured the PGA Championship Sunday by one shot over world number one Jason Day. Walker’s eight foot birdie putt on 17th was the difference after Day rolled in an eagle putt on 18. His par on 18 gave him a thee under 67, a one-shot victory and a major title for the 37 year-old from Texas. Walker finished at 14-under 266, one off the tourney record. Because of rain, the 36-hole final was the longest in PGA Championship history since 1952.
