The First Wesleyan Church of Bradford, Pa. has teamed up with the McCrea Brook Wesleyan Church of Eldred to hold a Seder Dinner.
The Seder dinner is scheduled to take place this Saturday night at 5pm at the First Wesleyan Church of Bradford located at 692 South Kendall Ave. A Seder dinner is a dinner that would have been served during the Passover and is the last supper eaten by Jesus Christ before his Crucifixion. Messianic Pastor Abraham E. Sandler, a Messianic Jew, will be making a special presentation during the Seder dinner entitled “Jesus in the Feast of the Pastor”.
Pastor Sandler will be explaining the rituals and customs associated with the Passover dinner. Messianic Judaism is a religious movement started during the 1960’s and 70’s that combines the Christian belief that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and elements of Judaism and Jewish tradition. This dinner is free and open to the public. If you do plan to attend this event please call the First Wesleyan Church of Bradford at (814) 368-7865 to allow church members to plan for the number of people to be served.
