A Sheffield man who sexually assaulted a 95-year-old woman with dementia will not be going to state prison because of his bad health.
Warren County Judge Gregory Hammond say 60-year-old James Mosher’s health conditions would put too much of a financial burden on the state. He uses a walker, is on oxygen and takes 11 different medications to deal with his health problems, including heart issues.
Instead of prison, Mosher will spend six months to two years on house arrest with a GPS monitor, and must register as a sex offender for the next 25 years.
