McKean County Court has announced that the homicide by motor vehicle while DUI case against Paul Morrisroe of Marshburg will be moved to another county and most likely a county outside the region. McKean County administrator Joanne Bly is working with the state legal system to come up with a county to hear the case and dates for a two week trial, probably in September. Morrisroe’s attorney Jim Miller successfully argued to the court that his client couldn’t get a fair trial due to the heavy media coverage in McKean County and the “Justice for Dakota” campaign by friends and family of Dakota Heinaman of Cyclone. Morrisroe remains free on bail in the fatal hit and run case last June on Route 646 in Cyclone.
