Oaks’ Plea Conference Continued

A last day to plea conference for 32 year-old Daniel Oaks of Bradford, in his homicide by vehicular and aggravated assault  case, was continued Thursday in McKean County Court.  At the request of Oaks’ attorney the court moved the plea day to August 8 so the defense, headed by Anthony Clarke, could have more time in what they described as a “complicated” case.  Clarke told the court he is hiring more experts to help the defense.  Oak’s girlfriend Alyssa Hawk died in a crash last September in Duke Center, where four people, including Oaks’ were seriously injured.
