AccuWeather Global Weather Center – May 23, 2019 – Isolated tornadoes are among the dangers as severe thunderstorms continue to cross the northeastern United States into this evening.
After a refreshing break from steamy air at midweek, more humid air is being ushered back into the region.
High temperatures will return to the upper 70s to middle 80s today across upstate New York and the mid-Atlantic, which will add fuel to a new round of storms.
Severe thunderstorms will continue to track from eastern Ohio into western parts of New York and Pennsylvania before spreading over the rest of New York state and the mid-Atlantic into this evening.
