A house exploded on West Branch Road in the Town of Allegany this morning.
Allegany firefighters say no one was home and no one was hurt.
The explosion happened at about 9:40 a.m. and was heard and felt as far away as St. Bonaventure University.
Firefighters say several agencies are on the scene investigating and they are asking people to avoid the area.
