Today is the one year anniversary of the water main break near the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford that drained the Bradford City Water Authority system of over five million gallons of water. A 24 inch main water main broke at the college campus and caused a water crisis and state of emergency that included a 17 day boil water advisory for the Tuna Valley. Water authority Executive Director Kim Benjamin says the 24 inch main is the big water line that feeds the entire Bradford area water system.
