A charge of endangering the welfare of a child against a Bradford man has been bound to McKean County Court.
Court papers say 36-year-old Walter Gutshall had taken 20 Mucinex tablets, drank half a bottle of whiskey and smoked marijuana before 32-year-old Amila Sprague left her three-year-old in his care. She returned to find him passed out and the child missing.
The child was found with a neighbor.
Police later learned that Sprague knew Gutshall was high before she left the toddler with him because he smoked marijuana in front of them.
Sprague’s charges were bound to court last month.
