Brad Keselowski gave Team Penske and the new Ford Mustang its third Cup victory through the first six races of the season by dominating the field at Martinsville Speedway.
Keselowski led 446 of the 500 laps around the shortest track on the NASCAR schedule. He was challenged only a handful of times by Chase Elliot, the only driver to pass Keselowski on the track Sunday. Elliot led for 49 laps until a late caution sent the field to pit road and Keselowski beat Elliot back to the track, and would not get close enough to challenge for the win again.
Elliot did finish second, the first top-five finish for a Hendrick Motorsports driver this season. Kyle Busch finished 3rd for Joe Gibbs Racing. Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top 5.
