A Beaty-Warren Middle School teacher was removed from class Tuesday and arrested on drug charges. City of Warren Police charged Matthew Kiser with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, and possessing a weapon on school property. Conewango K9 Officer Nic indicated the presence of 2.2 ounces of methamphetamine, 75 grams of marijuana and over 100 pills of many different types in Kiser’s backpack that he had with him in school. They also found a meth pipe and a box-cutter knife in his classroom and other drug paraphernalia at his residence. Warren County School District officials had received an anonymous tip that Kiser was using drugs during school.
