A convicted sex offender, who was released from prison last fall, is accused of a rape in Olean. Court records indicate that 25 year-old Patrick Potter of Delevan, is charged with predatory sexual assault and sexual abuse. Potter allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with another person on January 18. He is a Level 2 sex offender for a 2012 conviction for having sexual contact with a five-year-old girl in 2011.
