The McKean County Election Department says all of the write in votes from the May 21 primary have been counted. In the race for district attorney the incumbent Stephanie Vettenbrrg-Shaffer, who won the Republican nomination, garnered enough write-in votes to grab the Democratic nomination from challenger Phil Clabaugh too. And, McKean County treasurer Sherri Himes Swanson was the write-in vote winner on the Democratic ballot and will faceoff against the Republican winner Melissa Jo Smith in the fall.
