NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Eleven nationally televised games – including an ESPN Friday Night Showcase contest vs. Davidson at the Reilly Center on Valentine’s Day – highlight the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball Atlantic 10 schedule.
St. Bonaventure will play home-and-home contests with Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington and Saint Joseph’s.
The Bonnies also welcome Davidson, Rhode Island, Richmond and UMass to the Reilly Center during the upcoming season.
Along with their home-and-home partners, Bona will also make trips to Dayton, Saint Louis, VCU and La Salle.
As well as welcoming Davidson back to The RC on ESPN2, 10 other games will air on national television including six on Stadium TV and two each on CBS Sports Network and NBC Sports Network. The rest of the 18-game schedule will air through ESPN+.
After opening with two games on the road near the nation’s capital at George Washington (Jan. 5) and George Mason (Jan. 8) back-to-back, the Bonnies debut at home in conference action against Fordham on Saturday, Jan. 11.
This year’s annual trip to Rochester comes Wednesday, Jan. 15 as the Bonnies welcome UMass to Blue Cross Arena for the first time in the Alesco Advisors Roc City Hoops Classic.
A tough swing of two road games follows – at VCU (Jan. 18) and at Dayton (Jan. 22) – before the Bonnies return home for another Saturday contest vs. Rhode Island on Jan. 25. The team closes January on the road at Fordham Jan. 29.
Two more Saturday home dates help highlight the month of February – vs. George Mason (Feb. 1) and Richmond (Feb. 22) along with the continuation of what has become one of the A-10’s marquee rivalries between the Bonnies and Davidson. This will be the second year in a row the Wildcats have visited The RC under the national TV spotlight for a Friday Night Showcase game.
St. Bonaventure travels just twice during February – at Duquesne (Feb. 8) and at Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 11) while completing the Duquesne home-and-home with a mid-week RC date (Feb. 26).
Conference play concludes with road games at La Salle (Feb. 29) and at Saint Louis (March 7) with the home finale sandwiched in-between vs. Saint Joseph’s (March 4).
The Atlantic 10 Championship heads to New York once again where the Barclays Center in Brooklyn hosts the conference tournament March 11-15.
St. Bonaventure enters its Centennial Season fresh off a trip to the Atlantic 10 Championship Game a year ago and has scored 18 or more victories in six straight seasons.
