When the Bradford Ecumenical Home got a gift of a 300-pound pumpkin, of course they called a Cattaraugus County man who had appeared on the Food Network’s Halloween Wars to carve it.
Eric Jones of West Clarksville, New York, agreed and now his creation is on display at the nursing home, and will be around for the next few weeks.
Kerry Roslinski bought the pumpkin at a greenhouse in the spring and watered it with up to 250 gallons of water a night until it reached 300 pounds.
