Former Bradford business owner has allegedly appealed his legal designation as a sexually violent predator.
According to reports, Edward Wright, the former owner of Wrights Music Shed submitted an appeal to rescind his designation as a sexually violent predator. Wright was convicted on June 11th and sentenced to serve one to two years in prison with 4 years of parole.
Gregory Henry, Wright’s attorney, cited 9 issues that the designation should be overturned including his age and the likeliness of reoffending at his age. Judge John Pavlock addressed this stating Wright was previously convicted in 1986 of sexually assaulting a student while he was the band director for BAHS, and at the age of 66 or 67 had again used his position to isolate and assault another teenage girl. Pavlock asked the Supreme Court to deny the motion.

Thank you judge Pavlock for standing with the victim and the greater good of society against a repeat offender.
