A Bradford man was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop Wednesday.
Shortly before 5 PM, and officer running aggressive driving patrols in the City of Bradford observed 31-year-old Chaz Zawatski driving a motor vehicle. The officer knew that Zawatski did not have a valid drivers license, the car had an invalid license plate, and Zawatski was known to have active warrants out for his arrest, including escape from a rehab facility.
The officer tried to stop Zawatski at the Elm Street on-ramp, but Zawatski refused to yield and was not stopped until Bradford Township police assisted at the Owens Way off-ramp.
Zawatski was taken to McKean County Jail on bench warrants.
