A Bradford Man was charged after nearly crashing head-on into a Foster Township Police vehicle late Friday night.
Foster Township Police charged Jed Hamberger with DUI for the Highest Rate of Alcohol, DUI for General Impairment, reckless driving, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer and various traffic violations.
The charges stem from Hamberger allegedly driving in the opposite lane on South Kendall Avenue, causing a police chase. Shortly after entering the city of Bradford, Hamberger’s vehicle left the roadway, struck a telephone pole and a large pile of rocks in front of a residence on South Kendall where the vehicle came to final rest.
Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured, and Hamberger was released.
