A Salamanca woman was arrested for retail theft.
Foster Township Police were dispatched to Dunham’s for a report of retail theft where a woman had fled the scene. Officers were unable to find the woman at the time. Officers later located the vehicle suspected to be involved in the theft in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The woman was found in the passenger seat and identified at Destiny Shoup.
Shoup admitted to stealing from the store and hiding the items in the woods. She showed officers where she hid the items and they were recovered. Shoup was arraigned and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
