A former First Lady of Pennsylvania and mother of one of the State’s US Senators has passed.
The Casey family announced today that Ellen Harding Casey had died this morning at Regional Hospital in Scranton after a brief illness. Ellen was the wife of former Governor Bob Casey, Sr., and the mother of U.S. Senator Bob Casey, Jr.
Ellen Casey was 91.
