Olean General Hospital has received the lowest passing grade possible for safety in the latest survey.
In the latest survey from the Leapfrog Group, Olean General received the lowest ranking of the 14 hospitals in Western New York with a “D” grade.
Bradford Regional was deemed not eligible to get graded because of a lack of available data, according to Leapfrog.

Should we be surprised.? Was there a couple weeks ago and it was filthy…went to use public restroom…walked out gagging. Been in cleaner port a potties
Proves what I already knew from experience. One overcrowded and understaffed hospital cannot offer quality care for the population of the Northern/Southern Tier. It takes TWO! Miss my full-service BRMC.
This is very sad but not at all surprising. And everyone thinks administration is doing a fabulous job. They have a superiority complex and don’t talk to employees. They treat you as a replaceable and communication is the worst it’s been. The administrations are bullies and it’s like being in high school. They’re losing money left and right and no one cares. Patient care is not the first priority. They hold people in the er until a bed is available even if you should be transferred out. They allow people to die in the er unattended for hours and the state doesn’t shut them down. It’s really unbelievable.
I am terminally ill, I have been to only in channel for internal bleeding. In GI bleeds among other things., The refuse to treat me, they have yelled and screamed at me and told me never to go back to their hospital., I would not send my dog to this hospital. They need to be shut down or someone else need to be taken over fire. Everybody, that’s there and start from fresh.
