The Buffalo Bills returned to the practice field yesterday as they get ready to host the Denver Broncos on Monday night in prime-time, but started the week off with a lengthy injury report.
Ahead of yesterday’s practice, Bills head coach Sean McDermott confirmed several key defensive players pieces would miss for various reasons. Cornerback Christian Benford, and safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde were all absent due to injury, while defensive end Leonard Floyd missed the session due to an illness.
Perhaps some good news on the injury front was linebacker Terrel Bernard being seen in a red non-contact jersey and listed as limited at practice with him being in concussion protocol. Also listed as limited were linebackers A.J. Klein and Baylon Spector.
In addition, quarterback Josh Allen continues to be listed on the injury report with a right shoulder injury, but he was able to practice as a full participant yesterday.
The Bills will return to the practice field today and tomorrow before hosting the Broncos on Monday with coverage starting at 7 on 100.1 The HERO.
