Just days after the new DuBois Mayor and City Council fired former City Manager Herm Suplizio, word is coming out about how much the City paid for his legal bills.
Suplizio was charged last March with embezzling over $600,000 from the City of DuBois, the City’s Volunteer Fire Department, and the United Way. Those charges have since been superseded by a Federal conspiracy and embezzlement indictment.
Spotlight PA is reporting that since March 27th of last year, the DuBois City Council has approved paying over $307,000 in legal fees for Suplizio and associates of his involved in the investigation.
