The Oswayo Valley School District Superintendent is facing criminal charges yet again.
Police allege that last October, 38-year-old Jed Hamberger illegally operated a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and drove with a suspended license, both penalties due to his DUI crash in McKean County in 2022.
The new charges allegedly took place in Shinglehouse and were filed in Potter County.
Hamberger is scheduled to appear before District Judge Bryan Phelps on Aug. 15 immediately after the already scheduled preliminary hearing where Hamberger faces two charges of filing false reports from April 11 where he allegedly called police about exchanges with the family of an expelled student whom he alleged threatened him, however it was determined no threat was made.
Hamberger remains superintendent of Oswayo Valley School District, despite at least two Change.org petitions calling for his removal.
