The Pittsburgh Penguins are about to play four games in the next six days. They will be on the ice tonight (November 13) against the Red Wings, 7:30 at PPG Paints Arena.
Head coach Mike Sullivan says that may be a good thing to play so many games in a short amount of time. It will allow the team to flush that blowout loss to Dallas back on Veterans Day, 7-1.
“Well, it gives us an opportunity to go right back at it, obviously,” Sullivan said. “ We were not at our best, and all of us don’ t feel good about that experience. So from that standpoint, it’ s, you know, getting back at it as quickly as we can gives us an opportunity to try to, you know, to try to respond the right way and put our best game on the ice and go from there. So maybe that’ s not such a bad thing that we play that many games this week.”
The Pens are 6-9-2 on the season.
