A Bradford man was convicted Wednesday of making a false representation when trying to illegally purchase a Ruger pistol.
Dillon Schweitzer was charged by Foster Township Police with felony making a false statement on a federal form in conjunction with the attempted purchase of a gun and with making a false statement on a form which contained a notice that such statement would be criminally punishable.
During the trial, Schweitzer indicated that he did not have any felony convictions when he actually had three such convictions.
Sentencing has been scheduled for June 12th.
