An Olean woman and a Franklinville woman were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on N. 12 St. in Olean early this morning.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department charged 33-year-old Heather M. Chase of Olean and 26-year-old Noelle R. Coen of Franklinville with a felony count and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
Coen, the driver, was additionally charged with Criminally Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and numerous traffic infractions.
The charges stem from deputies allegedly seeing drug paraphernalia in plain view during the traffic stop.
When they stepped out of the vehicle, Chase allegedly had a clear plastic baggie of crack fall out of her shorts.
Coen and Chase were found to be in possession of Psiolcybin and Crack, While Coen also had packaging materials, a scale, and a switch blade.
Both Coen and Chase were released under supervision and are due in the City of Olean Court at a later date for further court proceedings.
