A jack-knifed tractor trailer caused the section of Route 219 from Lantz Corners to Tax INN to close for 5 hours on Thursday morning.
At 8:54 AM, the Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department and Mount Jewett and Kane ambulances were dispatched to an accident south of Route 219’s intersection with Westline Road blocking all three lanes.
There was a large fuel spill but no injuries were reported.
The road was reopened at 1:42 p.m. and the McKean County Department of Emergency Services, PA Department of Environmental Protection and PennDOT assisted at the scene with the Pennsylvania State Police investigating the crash.
