A Jamestown man previously sentenced on federal child porn charges has pleaded guilty to a new charge of possession of child pornography.
24-year-old Brandon G. Uber was already sentenced to 17.5 years in prison for distribution of child pornography, with the newest charge having a maximum penalty of 20 years and a $250,000 fine.
Uber used the social media program “Kik” to trade child porn with other users and was allegedly a moderator of the forum at one point.
A federal search found 33 images and five videos of child pornography on devices seized at his residence last August.
Some of the images and videos included sexual exploitation of a toddler.
Uber is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 15.
