A Warren man is facing over 20 felony counts after allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl several times over a four-month period earlier this year.
26-year-old Trevor G. Lester was charged Thursday with four felony counts each of Rape of a Child, Statutory Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors and Indecent Assault, along with three felony counts each of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child and Aggravated Indecent Assault.
The charges stem from police receiving a report on May 30 from a woman who claimed she was told her young daughter was exchanging “sexually related photographs and conversations” with Lester through Snapchat.
The girl was brought to the Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center where she allegedly admitted the Lester and her “were in a romantic relationship” between February and May, when he and the victim lived next to each other in a connected duplex.
A second child who lived at the address told police that they witnessed Lester having intercourse with the girl on the couch in the living room.
Lester is being held in the Warren County Jail on $75,000 bail with preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday morning.
