A Turtlepoint man was arrested Tuesday night for allegations including challenging a police officer to see who was faster at drawing a gun.
Pensylvania State Police charged 56-year-old Robin Main with aggravated assault, fear of serious bodily injury to designated individuals, terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.
The charges stem from state troopers arriving to Main’s residence to assist Port Allegany Police, who had Main and the victim of a domestic incident outside.
Main allegedly got into a verbal altercation with law enforcement and threatening to shoot his gun, claiming he was faster than the police.
Main became more agitated as more officers arrived on the scene and wanted the officers to put their hands on their chest.
He said he was going back into the home but then repeated his statement about shooting and being faster than the police.
Main was remanded to McKean County Jail in lieu of a $250,000 bail and scheduled for central court on October 23rd.
