The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Panthers baseball team is battling through a challenging 2026 season in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. The Panthers currently sit at 9-17 overall and 4-6 in AMCC play, coming off a three-game losing streak. Despite the record, this young squad has shown flashes of competitiveness with solid wins over Alfred State and Penn State-Altoona earlier this spring.
Offensively, senior first baseman Alex Colwell has been a standout, recently earning AMCC Player of the Week honors after a hot stretch with multiple home runs and RBIs. Senior utility man Trent Bielak continues to provide leadership both at the plate and in the community, while senior pitcher Maddox Stadler anchors the staff with strong outings on the mound.
This week, the Panthers look to turn things around at home as they host Hilbert College in a conference doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15th, with first pitch set for 1:00 PM. A sweep could help them climb back in the AMCC standings.
Head coach Zach Foster is hoping his veterans can spark a late-season push as the Panthers fight for postseason positioning.
