An e-Bike and motor vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Kennedy and Amm Streets in Bradford Tuesday afternoon.
The City of Bradford Fire Department and EMS responded to provide medical treatment to the injured E-Bike operator.
Following investigation of the incident, it was determined that the E-Bike operator was at fault and committed several summary traffic violations which directly contributed to the crash.
The City of Bradford Police Department issued a statement on their Facebook page reminded E-Bike operators to follow Pennsylvania traffic laws the same as other vehicles, including the speed limit.
City of Bradford Police also stated E-Bikes are NOT allowed on sidewalks within the downtown business district as well as asking operators to wear a helmet
