It’s the end of the road for Bradford Owls baseball in 2026.
Despite a late-season push to stay alive, the Owls saw their postseason hopes come to an end Friday with a 3-1 loss to Warren. It was a tough finish for a team that battled back when it mattered. Facing Brookville and Brockway earlier in the week, Bradford picked up wins of seven-to-three and six-to-five — the latter coming on a walk-off steal with two outs — but it wasn’t enough.
Head coach Eric Haynoski was proud of his guys, saying he believes Bradford baseball has a bright future, and he sees a lot of drive with the younger kids coming up.
Brody Haviland and Tarren Reese were among the standouts down the stretch, and senior Sean Ward gave everything he had in that final game.
It was a season of growing pains — but also flashes of what this program can be. For McKean County fans, the Owls gave you something to look forward to heading into next spring.
