An Allegany man was arrested after a traffic stop on Route 417 in Great Valley early Friday morning.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 53-year-old Frank J. Felt with Making a Terroristic Threat, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest and No/Inadequate Headlights.
Following an investigation, K9 Cash was deployed for a vehicle sniff and positively indicated on the driver’s side of the vehicle where deputies allegedly located methamphetamine and a pipe with residue.
While Felt was in custody and being transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, he allegedly made multiple threats to kill law enforcement.
Felt was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date for further proceedings.
